TIPS FOR USING SUCTION CUPS

The perfect surface for applying a suction cup is a clean, flat and completely smooth surface. Do not use a suction cup on curved or textured surfaces.

Clean the surface.
It’s important to make sure the surface is clean.
Clean the suction cup, and wet it.
Rinse it under warm water, pay particular attention to the inside of the suction cup and shake off the excess water. However, do not dry it; water droplets on the inside of the suction cup can help prevent air bubbles from forming in the seal. The suction cup should remain slightly moist.
Press firmly
Press the suction cup firmly against the surface on which you want to stick it. The suction cup is secured by pushing it down, thus pushing the air away. Then, if you release the suction cup, it will try to restore the original bowl shape, resulting in a lower air pressure under the suction cup.
